How to contact us with medical questions during office hours:

Call our main number 918-728-2000 and chose the option to leave a message with the nurse for your doctor. We have a nurse who answers these calls for Dr. Freed and a different nurse who answers calls for Dr. Mayberry and Dr. Narrin. Our nurses return these phone calls as quickly as possible, but they also perform many of the other duties within our daily practice. So, please be patient and they will return your calls as quickly as possible.

Due to the difficulty in diagnosing and treating illnesses over the phone, we often will require your child to be seen in the office before we will prescribe medications that your child is not currently taking. Please understand that this is in the best interest of your child’s health by letting us make an accurate diagnosis before starting treatment.

How to obtain answers for Medical Questions or Medical Care AFTERHOURS:

For emergencies, go directly to the Emergency Room or Call 911.

For Urgent Medical Conditions/Questions that cannot wait until normal office hours, you may call our main office number for instructions on what to do. Below is the “script” of what you will hear when you call afterhours:

"You have reached South Tulsa Pediatrics, offices of Drs. Freed, Mayberry and Narrin, our office is currently closed, our normal office hours are from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, and we are closed for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30. If this is an emergency please hang up and dial 911. If you have a question about a non urgent medical condition, you may view our website under the pediatric advisor tab for information on when to call the doctor. If you have an urgent condition and cannot wait until normal office hours please hold until the end of this message and you will be transferred to an attendant who will page the nurse line or physician on call. We now offer Saturday morning hours for urgent conditions, please call Saturday morning after 8 am for appointment availability. If your child has a condition that requires urgent medical attention, most insurances are accepted at the St. Francis Children’s Hospital Urgent Care Clinic, appointments are required for this after hours visit, please call 502-6600 for appointments and directions. No preauthorization is required for this, however if you have beechstreet or PHCS insurance, you will need to use the Southcrest emergency room. Thank you for calling South Tulsa Pediatrics."

How to contact us for Medication Refills during office hours:

We prefer that you use the following options in order:
1. Contact the pharmacy where you previously filled your child’s prescription and request a refill. They will send us a fax with your request and if there are no problems with the request we will fax it back in a timely manner.

2.If you are using a different pharmacy, you may click here to fill out and print a medication refill request form and fax it to our office.

3. Lastly, if you are unable to use the first 2 options you may call our office and chose the option to request a medication refill and we will notify the pharmacy (this is the slowest and least efficient of the 3 options, so please be patient as we process this request).
