Our Facility Map to our office We would like for you to take a look at our Pediatric Friendly facility. In the pictures below, we believe you will find that our building offers bright, vivid colors for our young patients to see while they are visiting their pediatrician. Our waiting room offers a wonderful view of the outdoors while giving the children an area of their own to play and cartoons for them to watch while awaiting their turn in the exam rooms. Each of our examination rooms is equipped with plenty of space for the whole family as well as an individual Television to keep the children busy. We also provide books for our children to read while in our office. We also have dedicated “Procedure Rooms” where we can perform sutures, IV fluids, and other procedures. These rooms are different from the exam rooms and bigger to provide more space. This allows the child to not associate the procedure with the exam rooms where they will go for their regular visits and check-ups. When coming and going from the waiting room to the exam rooms, the “Bug Lights” are often favorites of the children. These extra touches of children friendly items help the children to become comfortable in an environment that can often be intimidating to them or cause some anxiety in them. Our building was completed in March of 2004. It was designed by Curtis Group Architects in Dallas, TX. Construction was completed by BR Hudson Construction, Tulsa, OK. |
